Sowing Rate: 10kg per acre | 20kg bag covers approximately 2 acres

The Two Year Legume Fallow – Economy Seed Mix is a cost-effective, legume-rich seed mixture designed to establish a two-year legume fallow following harvest. The six-species formulation combines Berseem Clover, Crimson Clover, Vetch, Sainfoin, Alsike Clover and Sweet Yellow Blossom Clover to create a diverse flowering legume area.

Designed for UK farmers, landowners, estates, agronomists and agricultural environmental management professionals, this economy legume fallow mix provides an option for establishing dedicated environmental areas following harvest. The established fallow provides green cover through the winter months before flowering during spring and summer.

Vetch forms the largest component at 50%, supported by Crimson Clover at 20%, Berseem Clover and Sainfoin at 10% each, with Alsike Clover and Sweet Yellow Blossom Clover completing the formulation at 5% each.

The mixture has a stated height of 20–120cm and flowering period from May to September. Sow after harvest at 10kg per acre, using either broadcasting or shallow drilling followed by rolling. A 20kg bag covers approximately 2 acres at the recommended sowing rate.
