Wire Gauge Options

As a general guide, a lower gauge number indicates thicker wire. For example, 6 gauge wire is thicker and more substantial than 12 gauge wire.

Installation Guidance

Welded wire mesh panels can be secured to suitable timber or metal posts, frames or existing structures using appropriate fencing clips, ties, screws, brackets or other suitable fixings.

For fencing applications, position the supporting posts at suitable intervals for the panel size and intended use. Measure and mark any required cuts before trimming the mesh with suitable heavy-duty cutting tools. Always wear appropriate gloves and eye protection when cutting or handling galvanised steel mesh.

For animal, security and construction applications, select suitable supporting structures and fixings based on the intended load and site requirements.
