Our Classic Colour Low Growing Annual Wildflower Seed Mix is a specially formulated mix that has been designed to incorporate a solid mixture of commonly found species that can flourish in a wide variety of growing conditions, especially flower beds, lawns, pots and window boxes.  The result is a mix that provides a variety of native and cultivated species featuring a broad range of colours and flowering heights to help them stand out, and making them easier to maintain in domestic projects.  The Classic Colour Low Growing Annual Wildflower Seed Mix is ideal for domestic lawns, flower beds, pots and window boxes that need a bright and varied wildflower presence to help make them look more appealing.  Sowing is best achieved when the seed is mixed with dry sand, dry sifted topsoil or sawdust and evenly spread.  The seedbed should be lightly raked and rolled before this as it is important that the seeds make contact with the moisture in the soil.

Please note: This product may arrive in different packaging shown in the images above however the quality is the same.

    Wildflower Site Preparation

The planting site should be completely weed free, and annual weeds should be controlled through the use of a contact-based herbicide.  Perennial weeds can be managed with a translocated herbicide such as Round-Up.  Achieve a fine seed bed by cultivating, sow seed mix and roll to ensure firmness.  Good contact between the soil and seeds promises for optimum results.
