The Oceanos 1.2m Tree Guard is a premium, eco-friendly tree protection shelter designed to safeguard young trees while helping reduce ocean-bound plastic waste. Constructed from Oceanomer®, a high-performance material containing over 50% recycled ocean-bound and post-consumer plastic, this tree guard combines durable protection with environmental responsibility.
Ideal for forestry plantations, woodland regeneration, council projects, urban tree planting, and estate management, the Oceanos Tree Guard protects against rabbits, hares, deer browsing, and offers wind resistance and herbicide protection. Its twin-wall design provides insulation, helping young trees establish quickly and promoting healthy growth. The flared rim minimises bark abrasion, while the laser-line structure enhances strength and improves light diffusion for optimal growing conditions.
Installation is fast and easy with pre-fitted cable ties, and the guards are supplied nested for compact, eco-friendly transportation. Each hectare planted using Oceanos Tree Guards helps prevent approximately 150kg of plastic entering waterways and reduces CO₂ emissions by up to 228kg, demonstrating that sustainable forestry and tree protection can go hand-in-hand.
