    Humax John Innes No.1 Compost is a part of the John Innes range, which is an advanced quality soil-based compost range popular with professional and private landscapers alike. Humax John Innes No. 1 is particularly effective for young seedlings or rooted cuttings that are being moved into a larger container. Thanks to its loam content, Humax John Innes No.1 Compost is able to provide plants with a natural reservoir of food, trace elements and even nitrogen from leftover organic matter. Aeration and water retainment is improved due to the spagnum moss peat content, and to prevent waterlogging from occurring, lime-free grit sand is also included. Humax John Innes No. 1 Compost also incorporates horticultural grade limestone to give plants the pH level most of them want.
