Our Dual Purpose Wildflower 100% Seed Mix is a versatile blend of native annual and perennial wildflower seeds, available without grass, making it an ideal general-purpose solution where quick visual impact and long-term biodiversity are both required.
Designed to perform reliably across most soil types, this mix delivers a vibrant display in the first growing season thanks to fast-establishing cornfield annuals such as poppy, chamomile, cornflower, marigold, and corncockle. Alongside these, slower-growing perennial species including oxeye daisy, lady’s bedstraw, knapweed, and salad burnet establish during year one and return strongly from year two onwards, creating a resilient, long-lasting meadow.
This mix is particularly well suited to projects where soil conditions are unknown or variable, making it a popular choice for landscapers, councils, farmers, developers, and home gardeners. For challenging sites with heavy shade or standing water, a more specialist mix may be preferable. As with all wildflower areas, good site preparation and appropriate maintenance will ensure the best long-term results.
