    It is strongly recommended to use Root Barrier to protect tree and shrub roots from growing unruly and damaging nearby services, structures or other roots. You will need to join the root barrier and it must be done properly otherwise you risk roots growing through the joins. A Joining tape is required to root-proof any joins in the Root Barrier. Our Root Barrier Joining tape is a double-sided adhesive tape made from a woven polyethylene, with a coating of unvulcanised rubber on both sides. The Root Barrier Joining tape is used to join sections of Root Barrier and will stop roots from escaping through the joins. A three-point application of Root Barrier Joining tape guarantees optimum root impermeability.
