The Conservation Show Garden 100% Wildflower Mix is most effective when sown into bare soil without grasses, and is best known for creating ornamental display beds and borders.

Wildflower Site Preparation

• The planting site should be completely weed free, and annual weeds should be controlled through the use of a contact-based herbicide. Perennial weeds can be managed with a translocated herbicide such as Round-Up. Achieve a fine seed bed by cultivating, sow seed mix and roll to ensure firmness. Good contact between the soil and seeds promises for optimum results.
