Bamboo Root Barrier 420

We would strongly recommend installing a root barrier when you are planting bamboo. Bamboo plants tend to be very invasive after a few years of planting once they are established.  The runners can be strong enough to push through paths and tarmac, and to undermine walls or other structures with shallow footings. The costs of repair can be high; it is far better to restrict and manage the roots from the offset.
