Symbio Compost Starter and Media Mix 250g

The Symbio Compost Starter and Media Mix 250g rapidly breaks down garden waste into nutrient rich, biologically active compost to add life to garden and potting soil.

Contains selected beneficial fungi and bacteria chosen to rapidly degrade organic garden waste.

Produces a quality compost rich in humus and essential soil microbes to boost your trees, shrubs, vegetables and flowers.

This highly active microbial combination can be mixed with growing media, added to rootzones and organic or inorganic fertilisers to provide the foundation of the soil food web.

Apply your finished compost as mulch around trees and shrubs or as a layer to vegetable and flower beds at the end of the season. It can also be dug into heavy soil.

Application Guide

For best results build your compost heap in approx. 20cm layers, mix one scoop of Compost Starter into a bucket of water and drench the layer.

Keep your compost heap moist and turn it when the centre gets hot (65^oC). For large compost heaps apply at 50gms per m³

Mix into the growing media prior to planting at a rate of 25-50 g per m³.  Alternatively, mix 25-50 g with 5 Litres of water and apply as a soil drench.
